Scholarship Opportunities

As part of the ACTIVE (Australia-China Collaborative Training Initiative in Exercise)
Research Program, we are proud to offer scholarship opportunities to support the reciprocal
exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students between Australia and China. These
scholarships are designed to promote academic collaboration and cultural exchange, fostering
a deeper connection for students in the field of sport and exercise science.

What We Offer to Successful Applicants
– $ 3,000 Scholarship for a three-month study/research visit in Australia or China
– An enriching experience in a new academic and cultural environment
– Opportunities for international academic collaboration and knowledge exchange

  • Shanghai University of Sport – 2 students
  • Beijing Sport University – 2 students
  • Macau Polytechnic University – 1 student
  • Wuhan Sports University – 1 student
  • Southwest University – 1 student

Who Can Apply

Students currently enrolled in one of the following 16 universities:

Australian Universities

  1. Deakin University
  2. Griffith University
  3. Monash University
  4. University of Canberra
  5. University of Melbourne
  6. University of Sydney
  7. University of Western Australia
  8. Victoria University

Chinese Universities

  1. Beijing Sport University
  2. Chinese University of Hong Kong
  3. Guangzhou Sport University
  4. Macao Polytechnic University
  5. Shanghai Sports University
  6. University of Macau
  7. Wuhan Sports University
  8. Southwest University

Eligible students include those pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees in
sports-related disciplines such as: Exercise Science, Sports Science, Sports Management,
Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Medicine, or other related fields.

  2. A recommendation letter from the school/ college you are currently studying
  3. A personal statement
  4. A resume
  5. Your top 3 preferences for the university to visit
